yes i know but since using glucose and creatine ive noticed i dont go flat quite as quick between workouts of certain muscle groups because when you get older everything changes. but yes the gear helps also, with metformin.
 
52. Did not seriously train at all until mid 30's when I hit 310 lbs. Got sick of it and lost 100 lbs on weight watchers and homemade full body workouts. Left me a lot of loose belly skin, hate it but its fairly manageable. Life, career, surgeries, motivation all happened over the next couple decades and gained 20-30 lbs back but kept a majority of the weight off. Fast forward to 2.5 years ago and got serious about lifting again to spend more time and support my son with offseason football workouts. Today, totally changed physique and mostly focus on bodybuilding (just personal fulfillment level, of course). I don't want any more powerlifting injuries. As for my son, he just broke his schools squat record last week and has joined the 1000# club.
